Tench are Civil Engineering and Groundworks Contractors based in Telford, Shrophire who operate up and down the country from Scotland to the Isle of Wight.

Established in 1980 the business has been steadily built up over the years changing status from a Soletrader business to a Limited company in April 2002, currently the company turnover is £4 million per year.

Services include; groundworks and civils, foundations, roads, tarmacing / haulage, concreting, earthworks and sewerage.

Current works consists mainly of Commercial projects probably around 95% the rest are for domestic clients. Value of projects range from a few thousand up to £1,000,000 and can last from a week to a couple of years depending on the project undertaken.

Holding a relatively small client list working for some blue chip companies projects range from Groundworks and Civils works on schools, universities to large retail parks and fuel terminals.

As active members of the Shropshire Construction Training Group, quarterly meetings are held to keep up to date with relevant Construction issues.

Members of Constructionline and are in the process of becoming CHAS registered.
